Regina Stadnik is a Bay Area visual artist. Born and raised in the Ukraine, Regina brings simple geometric shapes and simplicity associated with suprematist aesthetic to her work, which centers on observing colors and shapes drawn from the daily life. Last year she began a quilt series exploring how the soft tactile quality of textiles contrasts with the geometric lines of the urban landscape.
Her work is included in several public collections: San Francisco General Hospital, KALA Art Institute, Bienes Center for the Literary Arts, and University of South Florida. This year, her work was selected for the Berkeley Civic Center Art Exhibition.
